Research Knowledge Inc., a game distributor in Portland, Oregon, is offering to donate the final inventory of the accredited Black Americans of Achievements, the Game which has been around for 11 years, to nonprofit groups, such as schools and youth camps.
Portland, OR (PRWEB) January 31, 2004 -- Research Knowledge Inc., a game distributor in Portland, Oregon, is offering to donate the final inventory of the accredited Black Americans of Achievements, the Game which has been around for 11 years, to nonprofit groups, such as schools and youth camps. The games come as a set of 10 games to a box and contain teacher lesson plans and instructions on hosting tournaments. The games usually retail for $25.00 each. However, all that is required now is a payment of the shipping and handling which cost $6.00 per game, or a total of $60.00 per set. The maximum per nonprofit group is 40 sets, or 400 games.
Thousands of schools across the United States are currently using the games to educate children on the importance of African American history.
The nearly 2,000 exciting questions and answers emphasize the achievements of black Americans throughout 400 years of American history. The game acknowledges individuals who have distinguished themselves in every field of endeavors from the arts, science, religion, sports, entertainment, politics, technology, the armed forces and more.
Players will learn more about notables such as Oprah Winfrey, Michael Jordan, Colin Powell, Tina Turner, Carl Lewis, Alex Haley, Thurgood Marshall, George Washington Carver, Jackie Robinson, Joe Louis and Martin Luther King.
