Or just a science geek looking for the odd and the unusual.

As always the colorful publication contains some of the hottest new science products on the market as well as hundreds of old favorites. This first of the year catalog features over 60 new products.
Known for their eclectic mix, the 2004 "winter" catalog offers everything from binary clocks and digital microscopes to rare earth magnets and miniature motors to water test kits and water rockets and more. In addition, they continue to offer what has become a sort of unofficial mascot for the company "The Drinking Bird".

Edmund Scientific started as a basement business in 1941 selling small and inexpensive sets of chipped lenses to experimenters in addition to large quantities of war surplus optics and optical equipment. The company still sells bags of optical components as well as a World War II tank prism.
