Boson Software releases version 5.21 containing new Comptia practice exams

Boson Software version 5.21 contains training software to prepare for the comptia certification exams 220-301 and 220-302.

Tampa, FL (PRWEB) January 6, 2004 --Boson Software, Inc, announces the release of their newest CompTIA A+ practice tests. The latest CompTIA A+ Core Hardware and OS Technologies practice tests for the certification exams 220-301 and 220-302 were released with version 5.21 of the Boson software. Boson practice test #1 for both of these exams have been approved as CompTIA Authorized Quality Curriculum, and can be purchased at http://www.boson.com for $39.95 each.

In order for an examinee to acquire CompTIA A+ certification, they must successfully pass both the Core Hardware 220-301 exam and the OS Technologies 220-302 exam. The 220-301 A+ Core Hardware exam was designed by CompTIA for the entry-level IT professional and PC service technician who has acquired at least 500 hours of hands-on experience. The new 2003 objectives of this exam were release on November 26th and include the latest bus peripherals, memory and wireless technologies. The 220-302 A+ OS Technologies exam validates the successful demonstration of basic knowledge of operating systems, which include Windows 9x, Windows NT 4.0, and Windows 2000. The new 2003 objectives for this exam also cover later operating systems, such as Windows Me and Windows XP. Candidates should note that the 220-302 exam is not intended to measure 'cutting edge technologies.

Boson practice test #1 for the Core Hardware (220-301) exam consists of 253 questions and Boson practice test #1 for the OS Technologies (220-302) exam consists of 259 questions.
