(PRWEB) January 1, 2004 --KeyMedia Music Group is proud to announce that long time friend and associate Rick Friend will be premiering his new musical drama on January 4th 2004 at the Donmar Theatre in London's famous Covent Garden. KeyMedia's Founder and President Denise Marsa co-wrote the title song from the show as well as a few other songs featured in the production.
When English dancer Gina travels to the United Arab Emirates, she meets Ahmed- a disenfranchised Palestinian exile. Six months later, her work takes her to Israel where she meets Uri, an Israeli writer. Gina finds that she is not ony caught in the middle of a complex love triangle, but also an enormous political divide where her allegiances are tested to the limit.
Cast:
Ahmed will be played by Raza Jaffrey-best known for creating mthe lead role of Akaash in the Andrew Lloyd Webber Musical BOMBAY DREAMS at the Apolllo Victoria Theatre directed by Steven Pimlott.
Gina will be played by Juliette Caton-best known for creating the lead role Bertrande de Rois opp. lian Glen, for Cameron Mackintosh in the original cast of MARTIN GUERRE, directed by Declan Donnellan, at the Prince Edward Theatre.
Uri will be played by Bertie Carvel-currently to be seen in REVELATIONS at the Hampstead Theatre Club.
Rick Friend has worked as a writer, actor, director, film critic, and composer-having been contracted as a songwriter with Warner Brothers Music. His stage play STUCK received excellent reviews in the UK national pres-The Times, The Guardian and The Independent-and gained 3rd position in TIME OUT Critic's Choice(Best plays in London).
All proceeds wilol go to SEEDS OF PEACE and VEVE SHALOM-Wahat al-Salam.
