Driving 4 hours to doctor appointments several times per year and bottles of medicines for breathing and complications from upper respiratory disease which keeps the infant sick with bronchitis and pnuemonia.Working six days per week and paying her families way with no other help or income is what she wants to do instead of ask for charity. Hard work is nothing new to this family, "it just makes us appreciate what we have" states Ms. Cottingham. How does a single hard working mother and a victim of domestic violence cope? She wrote a book! Not a book about her life experiences...not this southern tough as nails mama.She found a way to see the good and decided to use her inspirations and love of Georgia to help her create her first self published book, "Homemade Once Upon A Times". Its fair to say that June Renee' Cottignham has re-writen the book on humor.
