Juan Pablo Cappello Joins Greenberg Traurig LLP as a Shareholder
Greenberg Traurig LLP is proud to announce that Juan Pablo Cappello has joined the firm as a shareholder in the Global Practice Group.
MIAMI, FL (PRWEB) January 1, 2004 --Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Mr. Cappello was the executive vice president, corporate secretary and general counsel of Patagón, a financial institution with retail brokerage and banking operations in Spain, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Venezuela and the United States. While at Patagón, Mr. Cappello was responsible for all legal and compliance matters. He also structured acquisitions of financial institutions in six countries as well as the sale of 76% of Patagón to Banco Santander for $525 million.

Mr. Cappello had also worked for Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen and Hamilton in New York and Philippi, Yrarrazaval in Santiago, Chile. Mr. Cappello received his J.D. from New York University School of Law where he served as Articles Editor of the New York University Bar Review. He also received a B.A. with honors from Duke University.
Mr. Cappello is admitted to practice law in Florida and New York.
