Travel writer turns to romance
After many years of successful travel writing, author Louise Perry uses her experiences to create some wonderful and authentic settings for her fiction. Her first novel, Caribbean Charade, will take you to the islands for fun and romance.
(PRWEB) January 2, 2004 --Louise Perry wrote about beautiful and exciting places for a variety of national travel publications for many years. Now, she has taken her knowledge and memories of the destinations she visited and used them as the backdrop for romance.
One of her favorite trips was ten days of island hopping in the Caribbean. From that trip came the idea to use a cruise ship and selected islands as the setting for Caribbean Charade, a light-hearted romance soon to be released from Echelon Press.
Caribbean Charade is the story of a young woman from Chicago who takes a sea cruise to try and ease the pain of a broken relationship. Fate almost throws her overboard when her ex-lover shows up on the same cruise. The heroine swears she will not let him know of the tears she has shed, so she grabs the first good-looking man she see and begs him to pretend that he is her fiancé. What happens next is a fun-filled, romantic adventure on the sea and on the shore.
Caribbean Charade puts the reader aboard a luxury cruise ship and takes them on a grand tour of some of the Caribbeans most beautiful islands, including Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and St. Martin.
If youve never been to the islands of the Caribbean, youll be making your reservations after reading this heart-warming romance. And if you have been there, this novel will certainly evoke pleasant memories and a yearning to return.
