(PRWEB) January 2, 2004 --The Southern Wine Group announces the addition of 3 more estates to its fine portfolio of Argentine wines. Martino, Bodega Mayol and Elvira Calle. Martino adds a new high-end Malbec to the portfolio, Mayol adds 4 robust and delicious wines from single vineyards in Mendoza and Elvira Calle completes the companys offerings with its unique varietal wines made in a terrific small-lot, red wine production studio," said Kirk Ermisch, the company founder and president.

The Southern Wine Group is being acknowledged by the US wine industry as the emerging lead provider of Argentine wines in the country. Since 2000, we have been providing North America with Argentinas best quality wines," said Kirk Ermisch. We are the only importer dealing directly with Argentinas boutique producers on a national level."

Our 8 producers are all family run estates that have a combined total of industry experience approaching 300 years," said Mr. Ermisch. Their wines come from single-vineyards owned by the estates. Vineyard production is kept low so that the quality of the wine is greatly enhanced."

We feel very proud of the work we have accomplished this year. Despite, the ever-increasing presence of the worlds wine brands in the marketplace, we have achieved distribution within 19 states this year and have surpassed our sales goal for the year. Next years goal is continue to grow, both in coverage and volume."

We cant complain about how the press has received our wines. Really across the board, the response has been very positive."

All this from a main office based in Bend, Oregon. When asked why Southern Wine Group chose Bend for its main office, Kirk replied, Bend is great, my wife and daughters love it and it still has a nice small town feel. With our warehouse being based in Napa and the advent of the Internet for enhanced communication, we enjoy a positive working environment while having our inventory housed in the best, most convenient facility in California. Apart from my frequent travel to support the markets in which our products sell, city life for the business professional just isnt as critical as it once was."
