Our licensing and sales model is not complicated and is affordable to all software development organizations and independent/freelance consultants. Unlike most web-based applications, BugRoster is easy to install and configure on multiple server platforms. BugRoster contains many of the features of other expensive Defect Tracking systems for a lot less.

How is BugRoster different?
There are a lot of defect tracking systems to choose from, here is what makes BugRoster unique:

1. We have an easy to install GUI installation process that installs the application, web and database servers on Windows, Solaris or Linux. Other web-based defect tracking applications have messy complicated installations that require you to install web servers, application servers and databases. Dealing with versions of applications, setup and configuration issues can be time consuming and frustrating.
2. BugRoster has a web-based configuration and administration area that allows you to easily configure the webserver settings and mail server connection properties.

3. We have a simple licensing structure, the price you pay allows you to run the application on a single server without restrictions. You do not pay more for things such as: the number of CPUs, type of operating system, the number of users in the system, the number of users accessing the server, the number of projects or the number of defects.
4. BugRoster keeps track of the complete defect history including all changes. Through the view history screen you can see all of the changes to defect and who made the changes over time.
