2004 came in with a wealth of excitement for Jada Press. As the clocked struck midnight, it not only signaled a New Year but time to announce a Jada Fiction and Nonfiction winners and First Runners-up.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNERS AND SPECIAL APPRECIATION TO THE MANY WONDERFULLY WRITTEN BOOKS THAT WERE SUBMITTED.

Fiction
Winner - Talion: A Medieval Mystery by Karen Stokes (Kansas)
1st Runner-up - Last of the O'Rourkes by Kate Douglas (California)

Nonfiction
Winner - Whither Thou Goest by Patrick Simpson (North Carolina)
1st Runner-up - Private Wars by Gerald Factor (California)

Both the Fiction and Non-Fiction winners will receive a check for $500, an Exquisite JADA Trophy and extensive Internet exposure. The Runners-up will receive an Exquisite JADA Trophy and extensive Internet exposure.

Owner Glenda Ivey is thrilled with the turnout of this first annual contest. Over 300 entries were received and unfortunately many missed the deadline date because only the first 100 were accepted. With the success of this contest, she plans to have four similar contests per year. Glenda feels that many Print on Demand books are of high quality work that deserve to be recognized.    

Currently there is a romance book award contest underway. Prizes include:
