Liberian orphans in Need

Following the end of 14 years of war, Liberian orphans, abandoned and street children are in dire need of help

(PRWEB) January 4, 2004 --Orphans and abandoned children in Liberia are in dire need of the basics of life. These young ones lack food, shelter, clothes, medication, among others.

They are the poorest of the poor in one of the poorest countries of the world. Liberia has sunk deep into poverty and despair due to a bloody 14-year-old civil war. These kids are pierced with grief and have dreams that are being crushed by the circumstances they live in. There are about 50 orphanages in the capital, Monrovia with many more in other parts of the country.

This is an apeal to churches, charitable organizations and individuals to kindly help these unfortunate ones and shine the light of hope in their paths. Please contact me should this appeal touch your heart. Thanks for blessing these young lives with your kindness.

This appeal is made by Simon Reeves.
