Dexster 1.3 is a very affordable audio editor with extended capabilities. With this software, anyone can record, edit, mix and process audio files. Editing in Dexster 1.3 is done visually; the set of tools is standard - Cut, Copy, Delete, Paste, Mix, etc. The program supports markers and offers seventeen audio effects, like Amplify, Compressor or Vibrato. In addition, there are nine audio filters that can be applied -- Band Pass, FFT, High Pass, High Shelf, Low Pass, Low Shelf, and Notch filters.

The program features a built-in audio player and support recording from any input device, like a microphone. Conveniently, there is online tutorial available for the folks who are unfamiliar with the basics of audio file editing. And since the program is free to try, there is no risk!
