Trial Focus Plans National Expansion
Trial Focus will expand its affordable trial preparation services beginning in 2004.
(PRWEB) January 5, 2004 --Through the encouragement of its Mississippi clients, Trial Focus is expanding its trial preparation services nationwide. They will be training and licensing approximately one consultant in each state, beginning January 2004.
Trial consulting is a relatively new industry that blossomed in the 1990's. Since there are relatively few consultants in the field, the prices for research have remained relatively high. Most trial lawyers have abandoned the idea of using focus groups and mock trials to prepare for court, because it is too expensive.
Trial Focus stepped up 12 years ago and filled a niche in this fascinating industry. "We have developed and perfected research methods that are extremely effective but cost about 1/4 of other companies", states Trial Focus' founder Linda Harmon. "While some cases may warrant spending $50,000-$100,000 on research, we have targeted our services toward the other 95% of cases litigated. We charge about $7500 for two deliberation groups"
During her 2003 speech to the Mississippi Chapter of the Ends of Court, Harmon explained, "For most of the cases we are involved in, my clients want a flood of valuable information quickly, without spending a large amount of time and money on the research. They are so busy preparing for trial they don't have time to read a 100-page report".
Trial Focus has positioned its services to meet these needs. "Our clients walk away from the research feeling informed and focused on the right directions to take at trial. This is the basic concept that we want to transend through our expansion", notes Harmon.
Clients will be serviced through the trained licensee in that area, with the guidance from the home office. The client will benefit from the support and experience of a network of 25-30 consultants around the country, for the same low price.
"When my clients urged me to take our services nationwide, I was dedicated to developing a way to maintain quality and affordablitiy", adds Harmon. "We are truly excited abot the positive effect this expansion will have on the trial consulting industry".
