A4VB Silent Auction Kicks Off Global Awareness Campaign

Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) January 5, 2004 --Beginning at 3:00 p.m., EST (New York) and running until the end of January, the Alliance for Virtual Businesses (www.AllianceForVirtualBiz.com), an international collaboration between 16 Virtual Assistance organizations and 1,500 Virtual Assistants (VAs), will hold a worldwide silent auction of VA-donated services and products. Its purpose is to increase awareness of the virtual assistance industry and raise funds for the Alliance's scholarship program.
No longer a business owners best kept secret," VAs proclaim their existence by showcasing administrative and Internet technology expertise during this international industry-sponsored auction.
Services ranging from building web sites, desktop publishing, word processing, database management and meeting and event planning to transcription, real estate support and business start-up consultations are up for bid.
