Mall Walkers of America Online
The Mall Walkers of America website is online and looking for members to share their experiences as they walk the beaten path. Clubs are encouraged to contribute pictures, poetry and puns to the website aimed at the large community of walkers.
Austin TX (PRWEB) January 5, 2004 --There is a large community of enthusiastic and energetic people following their feet over and around the maze of our nation's malls. Everyday they rack up thousands of miles on foot, while they socialize, window shop and exercise their way to better health. And now they have an online haven for their favorite sport.
Mall Walkers of America offers these youngsters a venue for sharing their dreams, talent and good looks. The MWOA website combines a wide range of interests to attract the average mall walker.
Mall Walkers of America provides a bulletin board, chat room and photo gallery to help the members stay in touch. There are numerous opportunities for members to show off their writing talent in the poetry section, movie and book reviews plus a funny bone section for those stand-ups that can't stand still.
And where would these walkers be without the generous malls that allow and encourage mall walking in their shopping domain. Mall Walkers of America recognizes these malls for understanding the necessity of a safe walking environment plus the added bonus that happy walkers make for happy shoppers.
The MWOA website is managed out of Austin Texas which currently is home to five enclosed malls: Barton Creek Square Mall, Lakeline Mall, Highland Mall, Northcross Mall and Dobie Mall. Austin was rated 16th Fittest in the 2003 Men's Fitness survey. It was the only Texas city to make the "fit" list which truly makes it shine as the Lone Star of Texas.
With this type of publicity to live up to, the mall walkers of Austin have their work cut out for them. And now they and the rest of the mall walkers of America have a website that they can prop their feet on.
