Ashwaubenon Public Safety Officers Arrest Man for Selling Counterfeit Packers Tickets
(PRWEB) January 6, 2004 --A Saukville, WI resident learned that he had purchased counterfeit game tickets after trying to enter Lambeau Field with them. A Green Bay Police Officer at the Lambeau Field gate informed the fan that his tickets (purchased from a private party in Ashwaubenon) were not valid. The tickets had been purchased from a scalper" on Packer Drive near Holmgren Way.
The Green Bay Police Department relayed the suspect information to Ashwaubenon Public Safety Officers who located the suspect at halftime on Packer Drive near Holmgren Way (the same area where the illegal transaction occurred.)
Ashwaubenon officers arrested a twenty-eight year-old male from Chicago, IL. Twelve counterfeit tickets and several hundred dollars in cash were confiscated. The suspect was cited for selling without a permit. Other charges are pending.
