(PRWEB) January 6, 2004 --A Picture Perfect Kid, by Carol A. Guy, has been nominated for a 2004 EPPIE Award. The EPPIE Awards, sponsored by the Electronically Published Internet Connection (EPIC), are given annually to recognize outstanding achievement in e-publishing.

A Picture Perfect Kid (Zumaya Publications) is the true story of the murder of 56-year old Carol Jean Lindley by her 16-year old grandson, Joshua Wolf in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. What made the good looking, popular teen kill? The prosecution said greed; the defense cited mental illness. A review by Maggie Harding of Women on Writing called A Picture Perfect Kid "...a disturbing story...that leaves us to ponder many unanswered questions..."

EPPIE winners will be announced on March 13 in Oklahoma City at EPICon 2004, EPIC's annual conference.
