CellOp Introduces $0.33 Per Day Cellular estore at 2004 International CES
CellOp announced today, that it is offering its Cellular eStore Builder service for $10 a month. Located in the Silver Exhibits, booth 71212, using CellOps website, a cell phone retailer can build an online store, stock it, host it, keep it updated and maintained, and get the products drop shipped for just $0.33 a day. A complete e-commerce store with over 6000 skus of wireless accessories, ability to activate phones, as well as sell ringtones and logos, is built in minutes.

We have tried to incorporate everything that an online retail store needs, into CellOp. By giving the retailers a multitude of options, like, large selection of accessories, online phone activations with major carriers, sale of ringtones and logos, multiple templates, free B2B auction site, free short messaging service (sms) to any phone in the United States and Canada, as well as a link exchange program for the promotion of their sites", says Roger Kabir, CellOps President. Since CellOps launch in November, it has managed to register over 500 retailers. And until yesterday, CellOp charged its retailers $50 a month for the services; however, it has reduced the price to $10 because ...initially, we had to manually, and tediously make changes to the retailers sites, once they signed up. Tasks such as, mapping and pointing of new web addresses, creating each retailers administration panel, adding of the templates etc. had to be done by hand. We have now automated a lot of these processes, saving us an average of 3-4 hours per site, per month, and are passing the savings on to our retailers. Our current retailers were happy even with $50 a month, but I think they will be ecstatic now", says Asif Rizvi, CellOps development team leader.
