"Bridging Gender Differences: Men and Women Working Together" creating professional workcultures for all people

One-day workshop/seminar on cultural differences in gender that effect male/female workplace interactions. Learn specific strategies to maximize the benefits of these differences.

(PRWEB) January 6, 2004 -- Bridging Gender Differences: Men and Women Working Together
Offered by the Scottsdale National Gender Institute www.gendertraining.com; info@gendertraining.com

Open Programs: September 10, 2004 & October 8, 2004, Scottsdale, Arizona (also available as an elearning program early Fall 2004)

One of the major concerns for businesses is how to increase their ability to attract, retain, and promote both women and men. This is a critical issue, as companies that support a culture of understanding, respect and gender equity exhibit better long-term performance. Developing an understanding of the differences in gender perspectives is the starting point for developing a gender-friendly culture.

Workshop Objectives:
•Develop awareness & knowledge about similarities and differences in gender culture/perspectives
•Understand the impact of differences on work relationships and teams
•Learn tools for improving cross-gender communication and effectiveness
•Develop a personal action plan for using new tools for greater cross-gender effectiveness

The program is open to anyone wanting to improve their ability to work effectively and productively with men and women
