Wilmington, MA (PRWEB) January 7, 2004 --NuView Systems, Inc. today announced that it has been named to the prestigious Software 500, a list of the worlds foremost software and services providers, published by Software Magazine as an online catalog on www.Softwaremag.com.
This is the third consecutive year that NuView Systems has been named to the list," cites Saïd Eastman, Director of Sales, at NuView. This clearly demonstrates that we continue to grow the company by providing leading edge HRIS tools that help HR professionals leverage technology to solve business issues."
NuView Systems comprehensive product suite automates all aspects of HR, integrating the functions of recruiting, benefits administration, compensation, performance evaluations, training, succession planning, and metrics with employee, manager and candidate self-service portals.
The Software 500 is a revenue-based ranking of the worlds largest software and services suppliers, featuring 39 different software categories this year. The list includes both public and private companies. The Software 500 is not limited to U.S. companies. It is a worldwide list in which companies submit financial and product information via an annual survey.
IT spending continued to be slow through the period measured by the 2003 Software 500, with 46% of respondents reporting revenue decline. While the list has changed substantially, with additions and deletions, certain niches paid off," says John Desmond, Softwaremag.coms editorial director and publisher. "It was a year for IT professionals to try to salvage ROI from past software and service investments they had made, since big new projects were out of favor."
NuView Systems posted a 13.3% growth rate, which underscores our success in continuing to meet market needs, and providing an impressive ROI, despite a gloomy business climate," continued Eastman.
The ranking is based on total worldwide software and service revenue for 2002. This includes revenues from software licenses, maintenance and support, training and software-related services and consulting. Suppliers are not ranked on their total corporate revenue, since many have other lines of business, such as hardware. The financial information was gathered by a survey prepared by King Content Co. and posted at www.Softwaremag.com, as well as from public documents.
