New Book Heats Up Debate of Christian Tithing With a New Spin On "What Is a Tithe", and "Who Should Tithe" by Demonstrating Six Ways to Tithe (Only ONE is Financial!)

Giving Thanks: The Art of Tithing is a free 168 page book that is being offered as an e-book to help people get a new prospective on tithing. Rather than debating whether or not Christians should tithe, the author offers a new perspective on the pre-biblical history of tithing that demonstrates tithing is a unique opportunity to express gratitude.

(PRWEB) January 7, 2004 --Jesus never mentioned the word "tithe" specifically in his work. Yet he tithed with every thought, word, action, moment, innate gift and treasure of his life.

Debate in the Christian community has heatedly concentrated on whether or not financial tithing is mandated for Christians. Modern Christians are divided into two solid camps, with each defending their position with great zeal and even anger.

"Paula's belief is that people getting caught up in the debate are missing the point of tithing," said Liz Losher, publisher at Pellingham Casper Communications, which recently released "Giving Thanks: The Art of Tithing." "We often get letters from people adamantly opposed to tithing, who chastise us before they've even read a word of the book. We invite them to read a copy, and they generally write back thanking us."

Author Paula Langguth Ryan's mission was to show people how to tithe the way Jesus did so Christians worldwide could rise above the heated debate and get back to the heart of Christianity -- expressing love and gratitude.

"Imagine being so secure about the source of all your good that you never worried another minute about where money would come from to take care of all your wants, needs and desires," said Ryan. "Imagine how much less fear there would be in your world."

"Giving Thanks" is being widely heralded as a book that tells the truth about tithing without taking sides. Ryan believes anyone who reads the longstanding pre-Biblical history of the powerful prosperity tool that Jesus used in every area of his life will be able to uncover the proper use of tithing in all areas of their life too.

"My goal in writing this book was to help people release all the obstacles that have gotten in the way of them fully embracing their true, divine inheritance," said Ryan.

Striving to make the book as widely available as possible, Ryan convinced her publishers to give the book away for free through the end of March.
