Elected in 1975, as the First 18 yearold City Councilman in United States History, Jackson is a veteran campaigner who won a seat on the D.C. Democratic State Committee winning 52$ of the Vote in the year 2000. He has challenged D.C. Mayor Tony Williams on D.C.General Hospital,
Trash Trasnferr Stations, Corruption in City Government and Cuts in Youth Services and Summer Jobs for Youth.
