According to Sopdu, the founder of The New Reality, the Western world is currently operating under a reverse mentality. As the consequence of this reverse mentality, mankind is proceeding through life as though he is standing on his head as opposed to his feet.

Because mankind is operating in a reverse mental environment. critical ideas about reality has been reversed, and most if not all institutions that are engaged in this reverse mentality have failed or are in the process to doing so. For example: Scientist are spending millions conducting studies and surveys seeking to reduce reality down to concrete facts so that we can adapt or behavior accordingly. However, the reverse of this notion is true. As spiritual beings we do not need to know the facts to adapt of our behavior, we can use the powers of the spirit to have the world adapt to us and serve our every desire.

The reverse mentality causes medical science to ascertain the facts about our vital signs, and then they proceed to diagnose our condition. Based upon these facts, the physician tells the patient that he or she is ill, and then the patient surrenders to such illness which is in effect, surrendering to the facts which is the reverse of what should happen.. As spiritual beings, we do not have to surrender to facts because we are the creator of such facts. It is again the reverse mentality that have people walking through life backward.

Finally, the reverse mentality has most people believing the they were created by a God or higher being, when the reverse of this is true. Man is the creator of his God, and it is not the other way around.
