"SPIELBERG" Has Starring Role As Indie Film

"Get Spielberg" indie production starts principal photography January 31, helmed by newcomer writer/director Angelo Bell.

Los Angeles,CA (PRWEB) January 8, 2004 --"Spielberg" enters the independent film production realm with short film with festival written all over it. No, this isn't the 'Spielberg' who has become an icon of American cinema. This is the 'Spielberg' who moves to the front of the camera for production of "GET SPIELBERG," an indie short feature. It's "GET SHORTY" meets "BOWFINGER" and as action-packed as "MATRIX."

Angelo Bell, writer/director, embarked on this filmmaking endeavor, inspired by the achievements of filmmaker Robert Rodriguez, a self-made movie phenom. Armed with a website (http://www.IT-Hustler.com), a digital video camera (miniDV) and a pool of indie actors, "GET SPIELBERG" and its director have sights set on the independent film festival circuit beginning with with the Los Angeles Film Festival in 2004.

"I've been writting screenplays for ten years," says Angelo. "The progression to director was a natural next step." What's the next step for Angelo? Principal photography. "SPIELBERG" begins filming later this month.

With a TV series proposal being shopped around Hollywood as well as being eye-level in film production, Angelo and his production company, 319 Productions are working harder than ever.
