Enjoy Festive Food, Fun & Frolic at 17th Annual Winterball Karneval Hosted by St. Louis-Stuttgart Sister Cities to Benefit Charity
Masked Ball With Dinner, Dancing & Silent Auction Will Support Scholarships & Cultural Exchange

A new mountain bike suitable for touring the Bavarian Alps will be among the showcase fundraising items at the 17th annual Winterball Karneval set for Saturday, January 31, 2004, hosted by the St. Louis-Stuttgart Sister Cities organization at the Edward Jones Atrium.
This festive, black tie-optional event with silent auction and free prizes is open to the public. Carnival masks are encouraged. All proceeds will benefit the St. Louis-Stuttgart Sister Cities non-profit fund for scholarship and cultural exchange.
Special guests at the dinner and masked ball will include Anna Meyer Beck, Honorary Consul for the Federal Republic of Germany; S.T. Prinz John II and I.L. Prinzessin Ingrid I of The Germania Club in Kansas City; and Roy Leimberg, former Prinz and former President of the St. Louis-Stuttgart Sister Cities.
Event co-chair Susanne Evens says, "This fun evening of dinner, dancing and entertainment is a popular St. Louis tradition that raises money for deserving local students and cultural exchange programs. Musical entertainment will be provided by The Ladue Strolling Strings, with dance music by Larry Haller & 'Two Star Final until midnight. We will have lots of surprises. Its all for a great cause," Evens says.
Winterball Karneval ticket prices, a portion of which is tax-deductible, are $40 per person. Patron, Sponsor and Corporate Sponsor tickets are $50, $80 and $150, respectively. Tickets can be reserved by calling 636.530.1010 and are also available by mail. The reservation deadline is January 15. Check, MasterCard and Visa cards are accepted for payment.

Tickets will be held at the door. The Edward Jones Atrium is at 12555 Manchester Road in Des Peres, near the intersection of Interstate 270.
The 17th annual Winterball Karneval is co-sponsored by The St. Louis Center for International Relations, a non-profit entity whose primary mission is to promote the St. Louis region internationally and develop socio-economic exchanges globally to attract more investment and expand educational opportunities for the community at large.
