Roaring Penguin Software Adds Staff, Ramps Up For Growth in 2004

Three new hires in place to support accelerated product and sales growth.

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (PRWEB) January 12, 2004 --Roaring Penguin Software has added three new staff, bringing its workforce to nine and doubling its growth in one year. A new software developer/technical support specialist and two inside sales staff will be instrumental in enhancing and delivering CanIt, the companys enterprise anti-spam software product line, to even more campuses, ISPs and enterprises in 2004.

Dave ONeill joins the company as software developer, working on the CanIt product line and providing technical customer support. ONeill is a Linux and UNIX developer with experience working with client/server development. He previously worked at Linuxcare, and holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Carleton University in Ottawa.

Natasha Sephton and Wayne Kelly join Roaring Penguin as inside sales staff supporting education campus sales. Both are experienced account representatives in high-technology environments.

Sephton joins the company from Telus, where she was and account manager. Her prior experience includes sales management and corporate training. She earned a degree in psychology and various human relations certificates. Kelly previously held account management roles at Corel Corporation and E-cruiter. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Memorial University and a diploma in business marketing from Algonquin College.
