The Delaware Valley Chapter of the 7x24 Exchange Announces 2004 Kickoff Meeting in Philadelphia
Witness the transformation of a telecom building into a high reliability class A office, data center and mission critical facility. Learn more about the latest analysis of the August 14th blackout.
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) January 9, 2004 --The Delaware Valley Chapter of the 7x24 Exchange has announced their first chapter meeting of 2004. The meeting will be held at Amerimar Enterprises 1500 Spring Garden facility located in Philadelphia, on January 28, 2004 at 6:00PM. The site is situated on an entire city block located in the northwest quadrant of the Philadelphia Center City area, four blocks north of City Hall. Amerimar purchased this location from Smith Kline Beecham right around the time that co-location facilities and dot.com operations were peaking in 2000.
Impacted by the dot.com bust, the 1500 Spring Garden facility has since been transformed from a co-location site into a high reliability class A office and data center building with many unique engineering and design characteristics. The meeting will include a panel discussion about these characteristics and the design criteria that have been incorporated into the updated site. In addition, MTechnology, Inc. President Steve Fairfax will moderate a discussion about the recently released report on the forensic root cause analysis of the August 14th blackout.
