Bytewize Computers is coming to British Columbia, Canada. During the first quarter of 2004 Bytewize Computers will open a second warehouse for shipping Western Canada orders.
Bytewize Computers, a leading e-commerce shopping destination for computer systems, thousands of components, and software is expanding to Western Canada. Bytewize Computers is coming to Vancouver, BC in Q1 of 2004 to better meet the demands for faster shipping to our loyal customers in Western Canada.
Kingston, Ontario (PRWEB) January 10, 2004 --Bytewize Computers -- http://www.bytewizecomputers.com -- has increased sales & online traffic volume in Western Canada by a substantial amount during the second half of 2003. Our team appreciates the support we have received from Western Canada and in response to this support, Bytewize Computers has worked out a solution to resolve one of the major issue our customers in Western Canada: Shipping time to Western Canada. From our main location in Kingston, Ontario delivery times are simply too long to suit the needs of many of our customers and clients and so Bytewize Computers will be setting up a secondary warehouse location strictly for shipping products out to end-users and clients in Western Canada & USA.
The addition of this new location will create a system where no Canadian shopper, with the exception of those in remote areas, will have more than a 3 day wait for a package to travel, via Canada Post, to their location from Bytewize Computers. For many major centres within Canada the shipping time will be reduced to only 1 or 2 days travel time!
The current support and business we receive from customers and clients in Western Canada is strong but our team has always felt that we lacked the ability to provide a fast enough turn around time for orders as we were shipping from Toronto or Kingston. Now, with the new setup, it is our goal to have 70% of orders placed by customers in Western Canada actually shipped from the Western Canada location. The estimated date for which this goal will be reached is March 31, 2004 as we still have some logistical details to work out." -- Mike Reed, President
The warehouse will officially be in-place by January 31, 2004 and the team at Bytewize expects to start to use the facility for customer shipments by February 15, 2004. The fully automated e-commerce website at www.bytewizecomputers.com will select the warehouse to ship from automatically and present shipment and delivery dates, and rates with the new location taken into consideration. The shopping process for customers will remain virtually unchanged. The only differences that will be noticeable to our customers is that delivery times to locations in Western Canada will be reduced from 4-9 days to 1-3 days for most orders and the rates for shipping will be reduced considerably for options such as Xpresspost. This is obviously a major improvement over the system currently in place.
