For the third consecutive year, EPIC has given recognition to an Echelon Press author. This year the 2004 EPPIE judges found merit in author Judith R. Parker for her new mystery book and added another accolade to Independent publishing.

Along with her EPPIE nominations, Parker has garnered numerous nominations from the Independent Book Awards and the Bloody Dagger Awards.

Judith R. Parker is a member of Sisters-in-Crime, Western Writers of America, and past board member of the Northwest Chapter of Mystery Writers of America. She makes her home in the Cascade Mountains of central Washington state.

Echelon has had finalists in the EPIC awards since its first year in business, adding the recognition to a growing list of other nominations.
