New Member of ACFEI Homeland Security Announced
The American College of Forensic Examiners International, Inc. have recently certified James D. Jay of Callaway, Maryland as a level 3 specialist in Homeland Security.
Level 3 members have obtained the highest level of certification currently available in this newly developed branch of forensic science.
(PRWEB) January 11, 2004 --James D. Jay, from Callaway Maryland, has been awarded status as a Member of the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute. The ACFEI recognizes experience and education of individuals engaged in forensic examinations and multi-diciplinary training in their field.
Diplomate status is reserved for those individuals who are able to meet the stringent requirements of the ACFEI in the areas of knowledge, skill, training, and experience in the art and science of forensics.
The ACFEI is an international membership association, developed to bring together professionals from a variety of disciplines to provide a reliable, credible forum for ethical and professional standards for forensics. It is comprised of forensic professionals actively engaged in the fields of medicine, psychology, criminology, dentistry, toxicology, questioned documents. accident reconstruction, crime scene reconstruction, criminal investigation, engineering, polygraph, risk analysis and voice identification, among others.

Mr. Jay is currently a regional member of Divisions three, six and seven that are responsible for Military, Engineering & Technology, and Communications. The team members are available as consultants, and as a rapid response team for the Department of Homeland Security.
