No Yolks Says Yes" to Fairman Schmidt & Hurley

Fairman Schmidt & Hurley announced today that its assignment as advertising agency of record for No Yolks Noodles has been extended for the fourth consecutive year, thanks to double-digit sales gains and unprecedented share growth for the brand. Its makers, Chicago-based Strom Products, Ltd., attribute much of the brands success to its strategic positioning and longstanding TV and print advertising campaign created by Fairman Schmidt & Hurley, with the tagline Say Yes to No Yolks".

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) January 12, 2004 --Fairman Schmidt & Hurley announced today that its assignment as advertising agency of record for No Yolks Noodles has been extended for the fourth consecutive year, thanks to double-digit sales gains and unprecedented share growth for the brand. Its makers, Chicago-based Strom Products, Ltd., attribute much of the brands success to its strategic positioning and longstanding TV and print advertising campaign created by Fairman Schmidt & Hurley, with the tagline Say Yes to No Yolks".

From its creation as the first cholesterol-free egg noodle in 1978, the No Yolks brand has long been considered to be a pioneer in the food and grocery industry. According to Robert Strom, CEO, Strom Products Ltd., We basically established a niche for No Yolks as a healthy food product long before such products were in vogue for food marketers". As a brand leader with an impressive list of firsts, No Yolks was the first noodle product to be distributed nationally, and has since become the number one selling brand of egg noodles in the United States and Canada.

According to Brian Hurley, President of Fairman Schmidt & Hurley, the Agency made an important strategic advertising decision early on that contributed to the brands successful business results today. He noted To increase No Yolks share of the noodle market in a declining market segment, we made a conscious decision to broaden the usage of the brand beyond just the devout cholesterol watchers, and ultimately appeal to the general market seeking good tasting noodles. To accomplish this, the creative team at Fairman Schmidt & Hurley set out to overcome the perception that cholesterol free" meant absence of good taste, resulting in an advertising campaign designed to communicate the appetite appeal of No Yolks Noodles".

Al Schmidt, Executive Vice President and Creative Director at Fairman Schmidt & Hurley, noted the TV and print campaign is visually focused on the great taste of NoYolks Noodles, with mouth-watering images of the food in preparation, orchestrated to music. The voiceover in the commercials reinforces the cholesterol-free benefit of No Yolks, as does the close-up shot of the product package with its colorful, graphic and distinctive logo". Consisting of two fifteen-second TV commercials and one full-page print ad, the advertising campaign will continue to run during 2004.
