Contivo launches leading Enterprise Integration Solution in the UK Market
Signs distribution and support agreement with Network Atlantic to deliver benefits of leading Enterprise Integration technology to customers in the UK and EMEA, expanding global reach of sales & support for compelling Integration Competency Center solution.
Mountain View, CA & London England (PRWEB) January 13, 2004 --Contivo Inc and Network Atlantic Ltd have today signed a distribution, sales and support agreement to deliver the Contivo Enterprise Integration technology to major clients in the UK and EMEA. Under this agreement, Network Atlantic will become a full-service (master) distributor of Contivo products and solutions in the UK, providing distribution, sales and support of the entire catalogue of Contivo products for Enterprise Integration.
Centralizing and systematizing the skill-sets for Enterprise Integration is fast becoming a must-have for every major corporation. Gartner Group predicts that more than 80% of enterprises that lead their respective industries will have implemented a real-time "enterprise nervous system" for integrating applications within and outside the enterprise. Gartner state that "the federated approach to integration requires skilled people, best practices and a robust repository to effectively manage integration efforts. Creating an integration competency centre is critical for success."
We are consistently seeing major corporations cut their integration costs in half by deploying Contivo-- with larger projects benefiting even more than small ones", says Keith Feingold, Contivo CEO. And as importantly, the quality of the integrations is dramatically improved over traditional manual integration efforts. Ongoing maintenance costs -- the key indicator of quality, drop by as much as 70%. While our customers in the US and Japan have been able to leverage the benefits of Semantic Integration across their integration initiatives for some time now, were delighted that customers in the UK and EMEA are now able to harness these advantages within their own integration projects."
If you look at the momentum that Contivo is achieving in the US - the fact that the product was designed and built from the same team that created XML, the investment in the company by BEA, Tibco and WebMethods and the strong recommendations from analysts such as Gartner - makes this a very powerful combination of factors that is driving customer demand from the UK", says James Foley, CEO of Network Atlantic. When we looked at the cost savings and increases in both quality and productivity that Contivo clients are enjoying in the US, we knew that we wanted to bring these benefits to the UK market. Were delighted to be working closely with Contivo to ensure that the same quality of services, sales and support is now available to customers in the UK and EMEA."
Regardless of the systems, protocols or standards used by our partners, Contivo technology gave us a repeatable model to establish quick and seamless connections, saving us approximately 40% in project costs in less than 8 weeks", says Paul Seabrook, Head of Worldwide Integration for Agilent. The technology is easy to deploy and use, the implementation was done well and the systems performance continues to exceed our expectations."
Under this agreement, Network Atlantic becomes a full-service (master) distributor for the Contivo products in the UK and will work with resellers, agents and System Integrators to deliver complete solutions to UK and EMEA customers. According to James Foley, CEO of Network Atlantic, The System Integrators and other partners will play a key role in endorsing Contivo as the solution of choice for major integration projects, and were keen to explore partnership opportunities. Contivo will enable our partners to ramp up productivity, provide scalability to their projects, and run many more projects with the same number of resources. This in turn will lead to lower costs for their clients and a significant improvement in the overall quality of their integration efforts."
Contivo is the most advanced technology available that leverages the new concept of 'semantic integration to ensure the painless and highly efficient integration of all a companys business applications. Whether these applications are standard ERP applications (SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft), B2B applications that span business-partners (such as EDI, RosettaNet and others), or simply a companies existing legacy systems, Contivo can be dropped into place and automatically binds the integration points between these systems into Contivos repository. In this way, new integration tasks can be accomplished in a fraction of the time it would take with other approaches, by a team that requires much less technical know-how than before, delivering results that exceed the quality and efficiency of any integration that could be achieved manually.
Everyone in the supply chain benefits from having a single source to access information on business documents, and the efficiency grows exponentially when the process of building these links is automated.", explained John Gibb, Director of IT Hitachi America. Contivo represents one of the first such B2B applications that has a distinct and immediate positive impact for an IT department. The value of Contivo pertains inside an organization, to customers and to strategic partners. The IT marketplace is gravitating towards systems that can enhance the performance of existing infrastructure, in addition to providing incremental value of broader eBusiness networks. For Hitachi America, this dual role will help us to build better, more flexible relationships with customers, faster and for less money."
