iFreedom Communications, an emerging company in the Voice over Internet Protocal (VoIP) industry, that provides small business and residential customers flat rate calling, today announced the new additions of corporate management.

R. Michael Buehler has been named Chief of Opererations Officer. Mr. Buehler has successively gathered knowledge and acumen in dealing with the many facets of both business and charitable goals. Early in his life, this quest for excellence initially led him through several varied and challenging positions with such organizations, as Chicago-based distributor Schaumberger Bros., Inc./Schlitz Brewing Company, (District Sales Manager), Redken Laboratories, Inc. (Regional Sales Manager), and enhancing his tenure in corporate America as Vice President of Factoring with Walter E. Heller & Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of American National Bank. After serving in these and other similar positions, Mr. Buehler moved to Southern California and became involved with banking and telecommunications. In 1988 Mr. Buehler founded his first venture in the telecommunications industry, National Telco Inc (NTI) focusing on the 0+ industry. By implementing relationship marketing, NTI recruited over 3,000 independent agents within six months, to become the nationıs largest marketing force in the 0+ and hospitality marketplace. After selling the company in 1993 Mr. Buehler, founded American Charities Telephone Services, Inc. (ACTS), and launched the conceptual development of ³Cause Related Marketing², creating partnerships between individuals, businesses, and charitable organizations focused on directing substantial portions of the consumed telecom services to benefit those less fortunate. Mr. Buehler continues to use his business knowledge and consultancy to assist the development of emerging companies, both for-profit and non-profit (501c3) entities. Over the past twenty-five years Mr. Buehler has served on numerous committees, boards, and advisory councils in the political, charitable, and business community.
Ed Weaver has been named Chief Marketing Officer. Mr. Weaver brings over 20 years of general management and leadership experience. He has held positions as a Regional Vice President for Purina Mills, Inc., CEO for a regional school supplies company and CEO/Founder of ArkCatalog -- an educational, inspirational supply catalog for churches. He has provided extensive consulting services for two organizations pursuing Internet initiatives; involvement included assisting in business plan development, strategic decision making process and evaluating ecommerce opportunities. Most recently, Mr. Weaver founded and led the successful launch, as CEO, for ChurchMatters, Inc. a technology solution provider for churches, para-churches and ministry organizations. He also founded and formed StewardshipAmerica, LLC, a loyalty giving organization dedicated to serving nonprofit organizations with a focus on some of the largest faith based organizations in the World. Mr. Weaver was the recipient of the British Petroleum Innovation Award.
These two gentleman will help lead and move the company into a dominant company in the VoIP and WiFi marketplace.
