Jared Ewy, host of OutrageRadio.com's FrontPage Outrage news segment, wins "Best Youth" ad in Moveon.org's Bush in 30 seconds contest.
(PRWEB) January 14, 2004 --Jared Ewy, the voice of FrontPage Outrage, won the Best Youth" category in Moveon.orgs contest for the best anti-Bush commercial. Jared beat out thousands of entries to win his category with the riveting, Bring it On" challenging the Bush administration in the face of their continuing hypocrisy and lies. The ad is viewable at Moveon.org and is slated for future airing on broadcast television.
Jared has been the talent behind FrontPage Outrage, OutrageRadio.coms take on the weekly news since the end of November 2003. He produces the segments out of Denver, Colorado, where he works as a DJ. Jared has worked for the radio industry for the last decade, often as a top 40 DJ, where he has attempted to sway the minds of his impressionable listeners by dropping in left-wing political statements. Stymied by his corporate bosses, he turned to OutrageRadio.com as an outlet for his patented brand of topical humor and ironic news.
The Moveon.org contest culminated in an award ceremony held at New Yorks Hammerstein ballroom where the sold out crowd was treated to entertainment from Moby, Margaret Cho, and a host of other performers. Al Franken, Janeane Garafolo, and Michael Moore took turns overseeing the proceedings.
Founded by James Linkin and Michael Tulipan, OutrageRadio.com launched on November 14, 2003 as a destination for left-wing political commentary, with streamed audio content, interactive features, news, and blogs from the founders.
