Sensatronics gains a major win in Guatamala Cellular Telephone Management

Sensatronics wins temperature monitor, report and alert contract for cellular locations in Guatemala.

Bow, New Hampshire (PRWEB) January 15, 2004 --Sensatronic of Bow, NH. announces distribution in Guatemala, Costa Rica and El Salvador. A formal agreement with Enertel, S.A., of Guatemala City, Guatemala has been executed to bring Sensatronics environmental monitoring to Central America.

This agreement is the result of the Sensatronics IT Temperature Monitor being homologated as the device of choice for environmental monitoring within buildings at the base of cellular telephone towers and phone central switches in Guatemala.

Sensatronics was selected because of quality, installation ease, its open software interface and product support during the development phase of the project. Sensatronics met and exceeded our expectations through every step of the selection process" said Jonathan Cukier, General Manager of Enertel.

Cukier continued our customer buildings contain computing and transmission products where up-time is critical to the delivery of quality cellular telephone service. With the Sensatronics IT Temperature Monitor we anticipate no downtime associated with environmental issues. In Central America, where temperatures regularly reach oppressive levels, we monitor remote locations from the headquarters of the phone company and take actions necessary to assure uninterrupted service. Cost savings by predicting and preventing environmental related, network down time make the installation of Sensatronics products a decision having an immediate payback to the customer.

With Sensatronics products, Enertel plans to dominate this and other markets in Central America where environmental or temperature monitoring is key to business success. CPU temperature monitoring, and other IT temperature sensing applications for servers and server rooms, HVAC, restaurant and food storage applications will be consuming volumes of Sensatronics products."
