APPLE & EVE INTRODUCES SPACE-SAVING NEW RECTANGULAR BOTTLE -- Ergonomically-Advanced, Sleeker Packaging Offers Significant Benefits to Both Retailers and Consumers - -

Apple & Eve is once again on the forefront of the move towards more efficient, consumer and retailer-friendly packaging that is expected to be a major development in the beverage industry in the years ahead. Beginning in November, Apple & Eve will be shipping juices in newly-designed 64-ounce rectangular bottles to retailers throughout the country -- with the first products to be packaged in this new bottle design the company's new 64 ounce sized Naturally Lights line of reduced calorie cranberry juice blends (available in Cranberry, Cranberry Grape and Cranberry Raspberry).

(PRWEB) January 15, 2004 --Ergonomically superior to traditional round bottle designs, Apple & Eves new rectangular bottles reflect the next generation in easy-grip pouring and handling. In addition, the new sleek bottle shape will make it easier for consumers to store in their refrigerators, particularly within the increasingly common side door storage shelves. However, the new rectangular bottle design is also a major advantage to retailers, who will now be able to better stack the juices -- increasing retail space by 20% in the prime real estate" of their juice aisles.

Following the launch of Naturally Lights, Apple & Eve will begin packaging and distribution of its other lines of 64-ounce juices in the proprietary new rectangular bottle, with the shift from its traditional round bottles to rectangular. For more information about this new bottle design, contact Apple & Eve at (516) 621-1122.
