Metabolic Testing: Individualized Nutrition Program
Dr. Christopher Henderson (Optimal Health Center) offers free talk on metabolic testing.
(PRWEB) January 15, 2004 --The question, What should I eat?" may be the most important question in nutrition. The answer will not be the same for everyone. Determining what foods will most effectively support ones individual well-being will be the topic of an upcoming talk by Dr. Christopher Henderson, N.D., L.Ac.; Director of Calistogas Optimal Health Center. The free event will be held January 27th, 6-7:30 PM at the Calistoga Community Center.
Dr. Henderson will discuss metabolic typing, an individualized nutrition program based upon how food is metabolized as well as the strengths and weaknesses of ones nervous system and endocrine organs. Such information can dramatically improve ones health, according to Dr. Henderson.
The typing technique includes non-invasive testing that reveals what ones particular nutritionally needs are.
There is no greater or more powerful influence on your health than the food you eat," said Dr. Henderson. The external difference between people is very obvious and the same applies to their internal differences."
Free literature about metabolic testing and other nutritional and lifestyle support options will also be available.
Dr. Henderson who earned his Naturopathic Doctorate from Washingtons Bastyr University where he also earned his Master of Science degree in acupuncture practices full time in Calistoga.
