The workshop will help participants develop basic skills in performing arts ministry across a spectrum of disciplines and help them to explore the theological basis for using their gifts in the church. In other words, we'll cover 'how and why of the arts as ministry," says Sean Buvala, the director of the Center for Creative Ministry and the workshop leader. Sean continued, One of the good things about this workshop, in addition just simply being fun, is that the participants will walk away from it with a variety of scripts and plans that they can use immediately in the Lenten season, which starts at the end of February. Its very practical."

The ecumenical workshop is sponsored by the Center for Creative Ministry as well as Christ Evangelical Lutheran and Holy Family United Reform Catholic Churches. Participants are asked to dress casually and comfortably. Registration is strongly encouraged.
