AADSS Takes 2nd In Hilton Contest

As the regular season of NFL comes to a close, fans of the league are split between looking forward to post-season play offs and reflecting upon recent games. After placing 2nd in the Las Vegas Hilton's handicapping competition, AADSS has an optimistic outlook for both.

Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) January 16, 2004 --As the regular season of NFL comes to a close, fans of the league are split between looking forward to post-season play offs and reflecting upon recent games. After placing 2nd in the Las Vegas Hilton's handicapping competition, AADSS has an optimistic outlook for both.

AADSS is the American Association of Documented Sports Services. This sports monitoring service tracks the historical performance of many of the nation's top handicappers. Established in 1977, AADSS currently holds the distinction of being the oldest sports monitor in the United States.

The handicapping contest at the Hilton ran the duration of regular season football, and carried an entry fee of $1,500. Nine (9) members of AADSS each contributed towards the entry fee, and then took turns selecting each week's games. The handicappers that clinched the second place victory with a Ravens win Sunday night are:

NIS Sports (http://www.mustwinorfree.com)

The group climbed the ranks in the closing weeks of the handicapping contest, sneaking from fourth to third place. Things began to look up for the group when they moved into a second place position on the next to last day of the competition.

Ultimately, the contest came down to the Ravens vs. Steelers game on Sunday night. If the Baltimore Ravens won by more than 8 points the group would secure first place - if not then they were guarenteed a second place victory. The 13-10 over time score was enough to launch Baltimore into the NFL play offs, but was not enough to cover the point spread needed to push AADSS into 1st place.

Not discouraged by the Ravens' performance Sunday night, the handicappers involved in the competition are both happy and optimistic about their second place victory, which confirms their position as some of the top handicappers in the business. With the NFL play offs beginning next week-end, there is little time left for celebration, as these handicappers get back to the grind of crunching stats and historical data to predict winners for gamblers around the world. Gamblers in the United States can receive free selections each day from these handicappers by calling 1-800-233-0432.
