ScriptServer(r) PAN Printing System 1.3 Now Available to Customers

Version 1.3 has enhanced print job management, new PDF capabilities. Cross-platform job submission is being used by customers in the field.

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) January 19, 2004 --GrayMatter Software today announced the release of version 1.3 of the ScriptServer(r) PAN Printing System. The flagship product provides advanced enterprise-class printing services on a distributed network-wide basis. Key features include best-in-class electronic forms, queue management, printer management and output to Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF).

The enterprise printing solution now allows multiple jobs to be manipulated with a single click, the ability to embed PostScript within ASCII print jobs, electronic form images that can be changed during job processing, and simplified testing of new printer setups. The latest Red Hat and SuSE Linux versions are now supported, in addition to client support for Apple's Safari web browser.

ScriptServer PAN 1.3 is supported on a wide variety of platforms, with servers running on Linux, HP-UX, Sun Microsystems' Solaris and HP Tru64. Client support includes Linux, HP-UX, Solaris, Tru64, Windows NT/2000, and Mac OS X.

Pricing and Availability
ScriptServer PAN 1.3 is available now. Entry level pricing is $1,250 for the full server software functionality (including electronic forms) and the first five print queues. Additional print queues are available at extra cost. Unlimited client software licenses are free. Customers under software maintenance contracts receive the new version for free.
