A well-respected lecturer and authority on real property tax liens, Mr. Sernick will concentrate in the areas of tax lien foreclosures and representing local municipalities.

Prior to joining Davidoff & Malito, Mr. Sernick was an executive at XSPAND, Inc., a company he founded with former New Jersey Governor, James J. Florio and Paul V. Scura, former head of Prudential Securities Investment Banking. XSPAND assists local governments in collecting and disposing delinquent tax liens. Mr. Sernick also served as a Deputy Treasurer for Nassau County and as was an Assistant General Counsel for the City of New York.

Mr. Sernick earned his law degree from Touro College School of Law and is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
