Local Woman Business Owner Recognized By Business Leader Magazine

Lana Calloway, President of Exhibit Resources, has been named one of Business Leader Magazines Top Ten Women Extraordinaire of 2003. The Women Extraordinaire are recognized for obtaining success by capitalizing on opportunities, following their hearts and never giving up. This recognition acknowledges both their successes in their companies and their contributions to the community.

Calloway, a Raleigh resident and a native North Carolinian, is President of Exhibit Resources, a full service exhibit house that designs, builds and installs portable, modular, and custom tradeshow exhibits, including small tabletop projects, large custom displays, and office interiors. Founded in 1991, the firm also warehouses and refurbishes trade show exhibits, as well as providing graphic and creative services, corporate program administration, and logistics coordination.

Calloway was recently named National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Member Of The Year and has won many awards for her business, including Triangle Business Journals Women in Business award. Calloway has served as the NAWBO Chapter President in 1999-2000 and worked as hospitality chair and secretary for the organization. She served on the NAWBO board for 12 years.
