(PRWEB) January 18, 2004 --AskLog is the Web-server log analysis software. It works with extended W3C (IIS 4.0 and higher), Common and Combined Log File (Apache, NCSA) formats helping the site administrator to extract, group and visualize statistical and individual information about the site attendance.

The main feature that marks out AskLog from others Log-Analysis programs is the extended ability to track information about individual visits and visitors in addition to the standard statistical information.

Main Features:
incremental log-file download;
work through proxy;
visitor country resolving (by IP);
visitor host name resolving;
internal WHOIS client;
storing processed information in local database (long history statistics);
personal remarks support;
extended filters;

AskLog visualize preprocessed data stored in its local database. One has option to put data in from the local log-file (already downloaded to user's computer from web-server) or download data directly from web-server.

AskLog has easy intuitive interface, so a user can start working without spending a lot of time on study user's manuals and tuning the system.
