New Designer Cuisine Movement Makes Home in Hollywood
ZERO ONE, a restaurant featuring collective Asian cuisine, opens in Hollywood.
Hollywood, CA (PRWEB) January 18, 2004 --"What would you get if you gathered traditional flavors from Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok and prepared them in a way that is decidedly western? Youd get collective Asian cuisine! Created by noted designer Peter Lang and the chefs at his new Hollywood eatery, ZERO ONE, collective Asian is a new take on eastern cuisine.
Simple, yet bold flavors and fresh ingredients are what make eastern food so great", says Lang in his office at Basement L.A., Weve just put a really great spin on it!"
A unique blend of classic Asian minimalism and western Modernism, themes for which Peter has become best known in his designs (denim, custom furnishings, productions), ZERO Ones menu features a variety of otsumami (mini a la carte), brilliant salads, and full-bodied entrees ranging from robust pastas and gourmet pizzas to steaks at unexpectedly reasonable prices (entrees range in price from $7-20).
Located at 5401 Hollywood Blvd., ZERO ONE opens for lunch at 11AM and begins serving dinner at 6PM. This laid back, retro-style bistro stays open until 2AM (closed Mondays). The atmosphere is enhanced by guest DJs spinning lounge grooves on the weekend nights.
Its a perfect place for friends to hang out, a pit stop on the way home from the clubs", Lang continues, Hollywood has been begging for something new for late night that wont break the bank. This is it!"
