For business professionals selling on eBay, this conference is a great opportunity to see how to improve your online selling activities using the eBay API. You will also have the opportunity to meet with professional web and software engineers should you choose to use this special eBay access.
For engineers, this event will give a business overview and a more technical presentation of how to use the eBay XML-API, weather you use Java,VB6, C#, Perl/PHP or VB.NET. You will also be able to meet eBay business professionals who may need to use your engineering expertise -- a great way to increase your work load if you can handle it...
TOPIC - eBay Resources and API
eBay's mission is to provide a global trading platform where practically anyone can trade practically anything.
For businesses, the eBay marketplace is a rich platform making trading easier for eBay's 85 million users. For developers, eBay provides across-platform XML-based API to programmatically access the eBay web-service
platform.
The first half of this discussion will cover the business needs and advantages of accessing the eBay marketplace platform. Using tools and gaining access to historical transaction data, both on and off eBay businesses can be more efficient buying and selling and make more informed product or pricing decisions.
The second half of the presentation will be directed toward custom software development using the eBay API. eBay's Developers Program allows application programmers API access to our web-service platform. This talk will focus on the technical implementation details pertaining to integration with the eBay API.
Please Note. Again, as there will be limited seating for this conference, please pre register at the following web page:
