International Rhythmic Gymnastics Competition, February 21-22, 2004

Rhythmic Dreams will host the Second Annnual International Rhythmic Gymnastics Invitational at the beautiful new field house at Newton South High School in Newton, Massachusetts.

(PRWEB) January 21, 2004 --In addition to top U. S. athletes, rhythmic gymnasts from Canada, Argentina, Romania, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic will also attend this prestigious and U.S.A Gymnastics Federation-sanctioned event, including Argentine National Champion and likely Olympic contender Anahi Sosa, and Anna Pobokova, Dutch National Champion and one of Europes rising stars in the sport.
The All Around competition will take place on Saturday and the Event Finals and Gala Exhibition will take place on Sunday, from 9 a.m. -- 5 p.m. both days. Admission to public is $12 for adult and $5 for children (age 3-12), each day.

Rhythmic Gymnastics, the most beautiful sport for women, became an Olympic sport in 1984. It combines grace and flexibility with athletic skills and small apparatus handling in routines choreographed to music. Rhythmic gymnasts use the ball, hoop, rope, clubs or ribbon in breathtaking combinations of throws and catches while executing leaps, turns, and flexibility moves.

Rhythmic Dreams offers classes in Rhythmic Gymnastics for all levels as well as a full day summer program. To find out more about the sport and details about this event, please visit: www.rhythmicdreams.com or call 617-233-4493.
