Foundation for Clinical Research in IBD Launches Its Web Site
More than one million Americans suffer from inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The Foundation for Clinical Research in IBD recently launched a Web site to promote its clinical research program, its IBD fellowships, and it patient education seminars.

More than one million Americans suffer from IBD. Until a medical cure is found, clinical researchers strive enhance the array of effective medications. The foundation provides funding for
innovative clinical projects that may have major implications in the management of patients with IBD. It also supports clinical therapeutic trials in patients with IBD -- either Crohn's disease and/or ulcerative colitis -- and their complications.
Through the Foundation's Senior Clinical Fellowships, junior GI faculty and third-year GI fellows can apply for fellowship grants to receive comprehensive training in diagnosing and treating IBD and to begin their studies as clinical researchers in the field of IBD.
