The Romantic Inns Of The Susquehanna In Lancaster County, PA Are Pleased To Announce The Hunger For Knowledge" Fundraiser To Benefit The Milanof-Schock Library!

The Romantic Inns of the Susquehanna in Lancaster County will be hosting a fundraiser to benefit the Milanof-Schock Library. The Hunger For Knowledge" event will be held Wednesday, May 5th, 2004 from 10am -- 2pm at the Library, 1184 Anderson Ferry Road, Mount Joy, PA 17552.

(PRWEB) February 1, 2004 --The Romantic Inns of the Susquehanna in Lancaster County will be hosting a fundraiser to benefit the Milanof-Schock Library. The Hunger for Knowledge" event will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2004, from 10a.m.- 2p.m. at the library, located at 1184 Anderson Ferry Road, Mount Joy, PA 17552.

Each of the inns will be preparing a signature dish for participants to sample.

The admission price is $10 per ticket. The ticket is a souvenir cookbook including the recipes available for sample, as well as information about each inn.

Beverages will be provided courtesy of the Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce and Information Center.

Other activities include a garnishing demonstration; featuring a table setting display and floral centerpiece, led by Dawn Hand, Executive Chef in charge of catering at the Accomac restaurant in Wrightsville. There will also be story-time for children to attend.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at the library or at the Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce and Information Center, 445 Linden St., Columbia, PA 17512, (717) 684-5249, or www.parivertowns.com. Tickets will also be available at the library on the day of the event.

The Milanof-Schock Library was founded in 1999, and serves the public in the local communities, including Mt. Joy, Marietta, and the Donegal area.
