In her new position, Ms. McMillan will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operation of the Bureau. She succeeds Janice Grassi, who retired recently from the Bureau after 40 years of outstanding service. "The Long Island Better Business Bureau, one of the most highly respected and innovative business and community relations organizations in the country, is a valuable resource for consumers and businesses alike," said Ms. McMillan. We are delighted that she will now be running the Long Island Office."

Kevin Rooney, Chairman of the LIBBBs advisory board, noted that Ms. McMillans background and expertise in the area of investigations into proper business practices will be of critical importance. In recent years, the faith and confidence of consumers in business ethics and integrity have been severely tested," he said. We are confident that Ms. McMillan will be a tireless advocate of the business community as it strives to restore consumer confidence." Ms. McMillan currently serves on the Consumer Affairs Committee of the Bar Association of the City of New York and is an active member of the Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) Small Business Advisory Committee.
