VANTIX to Provide Web-Enabled Process Automation Software for the District of Columbia Department of Transportation
VANTIX, Inc., a leading provider of public safety software, facilities management solutions and IT services, today announced that the District of Columbia, Department of Transportation has awarded the company a contract to provide a fully integrated, web-enabled DBE/MBE Contract Tracking and Compliance system.
Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) February 1, 2004 --The District of Columbia, Department of Transportation(DDOT), which manages and maintains the transportation infrastructure of Washington, D.C. has agreed to purchase software, security consulting and software development services from VANTIX. The solution set combines electronic certification, prime and sub payment tracking, as well as document imaging and workflow. The system will improve interdepartmental communications, enhance E-gov services and improve the interface with the DDOTs current website www.ddot.dc.gov.
The DBE Tracking and Compliance solution provides improved record management capabilities for DDOTs Civil Rights Division, while tracking case management information, as well as integrating with the District of Columbias PASS financial infrastructure to track payments between prime and subcontractors. The system will be compliant with the Code of Federal Regulations (49 CFR Part 26) by tracking all required data elements from the requisition process through contract completion. The system also includes a document and imaging component that will scan, tag and automatically append required signatory or notarized documents to records within the system.
VANTIX will provide process and workflow functions through software provided by the company's partner, EventRelay, Inc. "We are committed to providing the Department of Transportation with a comprehensive software solution," stated VANTIX president, Ken Pittman.
